20th Indian Republic Day Kavi Sammelan & Mushaira will celebrate Indian Republic Day with the bliss of culture

The 20^th INDIAN REPUBLIC DAY KAVI SAMMELAN & MUSHAIRA will bring some of the most iconic stars together for the evening of Hindi and Urdu to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of Indian Republic Day on 22^nd January 2022 in Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai. Urdu and Hindi poetry lovers will witness the symphony of language and culture during this event.

H.E. Sunjay Sudhir, India’s Ambassador, sent a message for the souvenir writing “I appreciate the effort of the organising committee of Kavi Sammelan & Mushaira, Dubai and its founder Syed Salahuddin for his untiring efforts to keep organizing the Kavi Sammelan & Mushaira regularly and to bring together talented and creative individuals while also exhilarating the audience”.

Jauhar Kanpuri, Dr. Akhilesh Mishra (IAS), Dr. Suman Dubey, Dr. Nayyar Jalalpuri, Hashim Firozabadi, Shambhu Shikhar, Dr. Rakesh Toofan, and Ekta Bharti from India are among the legendary superstars of Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan this year. Dr. Nayyar Jalalpuri, will host the event. Justice Mr. Mohammed Babar will be the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Tariq Syeed will preside over the program.

Apart from the mentioned names, Emirati Urdu poet Dr. Zubair Farooq will be the evening’s centerpiece. His well-known poems demonstrate that languages are not exclusive to any one nation or country; rather, they are cherished and revered by all.

Talking to TheBrew, the organiser of the event Syed Salahuddin said that “I take this opportunity to express gratitude to all our well-wishers including the audience, chief guest, organising committee, Sponsors and organisers of Dubai Shopping Festival for making it a permanent fixture of DSF events calendar”.

Organiser will release a stunning trilingual keepsake at the event, expressing the importance and background of India’s Republic Day and historic Lal Qila ka Mushaira. The latest poetry of the participating poets is included in the Souvenir. The memento is intended to be valuable enough to be considered a collector’s item. “Dhoop Ka Safar,” a book authored by Jauhar Kanpuri, will be launched at the occasion.
