Australia rings in the New Year with customary grand fireworks

Australia was one of the first countries to welcome New Year with a grand display of fireworks lighting up the sky over the Sydney Habour. The threat of covid failed to dampen its spirit to celebrate 2022.

Celebratory messages of the New Year began pouring on social channels with the likes of Hugh Jackman congratulating the continent with New Year Wishes.
