CEAMA concludes 43rd Annual Function: Atul Lal received the Electronics man of the year award

DELHI:  Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA), the apex industry body for the Appliances and Consumer Electronics (ACE) industry concluded its 43rd annual function themed “Indian ACE industry celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Atul Bihari Lall – Vice Chair and Managing Director of Dixon Technologies India, received the award for Electronics Man of The Year by Piyush Goyal.

Atul B Lall, receiving the Man of Electronics award. Minister said that he was so happy that Vachani family whom he knew so well was associated with leading Make In India movement.

Kamal Vachani, Hon. Regional Director of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, Dubai said that “I congratulate Atul for this achievement. We are close allies in business and personal connections. I must say for Atul sky is the limit.”

Atul B Lall, is the Vice Chairman – Managing Director of Dixon Technologies (India) Limited. He has graduated from BITS, Pilani. He has been associated with our Company since inception. He is responsible for Company’s overall business operations. With nearly three decades of experience in the EMS industry, he has served as a member of the Technical Evaluation Committee for Electronic Manufacturing Services under M-SIPS (Electronic Manufacturing Services- EMS) constituted by the MeitY – Kamal Vachani added.

Piyush Goyal also unveiled a report by CEAMA titled ‘Towards a Sustainable CEEW Value Chain – Mapping and plugging leakages’ with the objective to improve e-waste management in India. The event highlighted the challenges and opportunities faced by India’s Appliance and Consumer Electronics (ACE) industry and the numerous opportunities that can support the boom in Indian ACE Industry. Today, India is one of the fastest-growing ACE markets in the world. With the low penetration levels in most of the product categories, the industry comprising of large and small appliances and consumer electronics is estimated to double its value in the next 3 years to reach 1.48 lakh cr. by 2025.
