Celebrate Diwali by seeing A R Rahman live in concert on October 29

Abu Dhabi: World-renowned music icon A. R. Rahman is set to lighten up fans this Diwali with a special live concert. The concert will take place at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on October 29, 2022. 

The Oscar winner completed a dynamic 30 years in the industry and is one of the most celebrated musicians globally.  Recently, A. R. Rahman received the Best Background Score Award for the Film Atrangi Re at the most prestigious awards; the 22nd Edition of the NEXA IIFA Awards which was also held earlier this month at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the occasion A. R. Rahman says, “I’m thrilled and honoured to be performing live for the first time at Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi this October. I always endeavour to celebrate music globally and connect with my fans and music enthusiasts worldwide, and as Abu Dhabi is growing in being a prime leisure and entertainment destination, I am looking forward to being a part of their Diwali celebrations this year!”
