Bob Saget, the comedian and actor best known to viewers as Danny Tanner on the comedy “Full House” and the voice of the father in “How I met your mother”, has died at age 65.

“We are heartbroken to report that our dear Bob died away today,” said the Saget family according to reports.
“He was everything to us, and we want you to know how much he enjoyed performing live for his fans and bringing people from all walks of life together via laughing. Though we respectfully want solitude at this time, we encourage you to join us in honouring Bob and the joy he gave to the world.”

Saget, who is known for his comedy on stage and among his friends, originally became known to audiences through family-friendly tele-comedy. He first appeared on ABC’s “Full House” as the widower father of three daughters, and later as the host of the network’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” clip programme.

Recently he had given his voice as the father in the cult-famous “How I met your mother” series where he can be heard narrating his love story to his kids.

Saget was in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes when he was found dead on Sunday.
