Dubai Police to launch second NFT Collection during GITEX 2022

Dubai Police are ready to launch the 2nd edition of its NFT collection during GITEX 2022, the first edition of NFT featured 150 free digital assets focused on the police force’s values of innovation, security and communication.

The news of the second collection comes in after 22.91 million people from all over the world registered their interest in being owners of the force’s first edition of NFTs, which were released by the force’s General Command

More than 7,000 direct messages for the first edition were received from participants through social media, says Dubai Police’s director of the general department of Artificial Intelligence, Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi,

Speaking about this, he said, “Dubai Police’s announcement received loads of attention, both locally and globally with Saudi Arabia, India, USA and Nigeria, interacting with the news primarily, says Al Razooqi.

According to Al Razooqi, the total views of the announcement reached 589,173 people across social media platforms.

Dubai Police are the first government entity in the UAE and the first police organisation across the world, to create digital assets.

The 2nd edition of the NFT collection is expected to be released during GITEX 2022.

Around 23 million people from around the world registered their interest in receiving Dubai Police’s first collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which the force issued earlier this year. The police received over 7,000 direct messages from the participants through their social media platforms.
