Feel safe at crossings with Abu Dhabi’s new AI-powered radar system

ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi police took to its social media to announce its new automatic adjustment cautious radar system in Abu Dhabi, which works with AI technology to monitor pedestrian crossings. This system also monitors vehicle violations that do not allow priority to cross pedestrians from places designated for them to cross, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior campaign under the name “Safety of pedestrians and drivers from crash accidents.”

This vigilance system aims to warn drivers of the importance of following traffic and traffic rules and prioritize crossing pedestrians from their designated places, for their safety as well as others. As per the system, any vehicle that does not allow pedestrian crossing will be in violation and the camera will capture photos of the car.
