FIFA Club World Cup roadshow lands at the Expo 2020 Dubai

DUBAI: Ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup heading back to the UAE from February 3-12, football fans can enjoy a taste of the excitement and see its glittering trophy as the tournament’s roadshow makes a pit stop at Expo 2020 Dubai’s Expo Sports Arena.

Expo 2020 Dubai visitors are able to enjoy a series of challenging activities that put their skills to the test, as well as take photos with the Club World Cup trophy. Points will be recorded on a leaderboard at the different activity zones, with the top three overall scores to be awarded exclusive FIFA merchandise.

After visitors have scanned a QR Code, they start at the ‘Training Pod’, where the trick is to let your feet follow the flashing lights. Participants can then move on to ‘Ski Ball’, which tests both kicking accuracy and velocity. At ‘Save Hero’, players can channel their inner goalkeeper to prevent shots going in – no mean feat when the ball is being dispensed by a JUGS Soccer Machine at increasingly accelerated speeds.

Agility and speed is the name of the game in ‘Dribbling Heroes’, while ‘Accuracy Hero’ is all about precision. There’s also a Fussball table and complimentary merchandise for participants.

A fun day out for the whole family, the FIFA Club World Cup roadshow is open at the Expo Sports Arena, located behind Jubilee Park.
