DUBAI: The Expo 2020 Dubai Street Food Night Market, which runs from March 11-31 at Festival Garden, is the place to visit for adventurous eaters, from avid vegans to die-hard meat-lovers – and everyone in-between.

Home to authentic street food from across the globe, including Silk Road-inspired dishes and unique Hawaiian fare, the 10 food stands are guaranteed to drive foodie cravings, plus there will be top live entertainment and activities for youngsters, including an inflatable park.

Reggae legends UB40 will be performing hits from their Labour Of Love album, together with classics such as (I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You, and a handful of songs from their upcoming album, on March 13.

A “not just for vegans” exhibition and market with delicious plant-based food will also be popping up on March 27.

Sandwichian

An innovative concept from cookbook writer and Armenian food connoisseur Aline Kamakian, Sandwichian prides itself on its exotic flavours, serving soujouk sliders featuring Silk Road spices, cured meats, yoghurt sauces, silky hummus and homemade pickles.

El Ta’koy

A brand-new concept in Miami and London from renowned chef Luis A Pous, El Ta’koy was born out of his love and admiration for the diversity found in the street food of Hawaii. Diners can expect an accessible menu, featuring poke bowls, nachos and tacos, with Chef Pous’ unique twist on each dish.

Mangrove by Philippines

The homegrown restaurant at the Philippines Pavilion offers an authentic Filipino BBQ menu, curated exclusively for the Festival Garden.

Mame Sow from Alkebulan The African Dining Hall

Pastry chef Mame Sow, who was born and raised in Senegal and moved to New York in her early teens, will celebrate African traditions, flavours and cooking techniques with her varied menu at the Street Food Night Market.

Local Fire by The Mattar Farm

Dubai’s leading smokehouse and BBQ experts will create Local Fire’s signature sandwiches with award-winning meats and smoky wood cooking.

Pickl

Pickl is one of Dubai’s most loved burger joints – and it all started with a simple idea: to make great burgers and change the way people see fast food. All the patties, sauces, spice blends and pickles are prepared fresh every single day, with no hormones, preservatives or additives.

Creffle cart

Enjoy piping hot classic waffles and crêpes with an array of flavours from which to choose.

Floozie Cookies

Created by pastry chef Kimberly Lin, Floozie Cookies offers signature vegan stuffed cookies in five flavours, plus a seasonally changing sixth option.

Bread Ahead

Hailing from London, Bread Ahead is renowned for its freshly baked artisan doughnuts, with a variety of colourful concoctions available at the Street Food Night Market.
