Learn the carbon footprint of your clothes with this application

DUBAI: The Sweden Pavilion hosted a sustainable fashion show, featuring a low-carbon line of nature-inspired clothes and accessories and demonstrating an app that can calculate the carbon footprint of clothes.

Sofie Kallstrom, CEO and founder of Transparall.com, and organiser of the show said, “My company has partnered with a Swedish firm that has developed an app that can calculate the carbon footprint of clothes. Just as people want to know the calories they consume in food, today we have an app to calculate the carbon footprint of each product. As every brand today wants to be sustainable, I believe this is the way to go to achieve sustainability in fashion.”
