World: While working for Google is a dream for many, getting hired at the search giant no easy task. Aditya Sharma, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of HiCounselor, who helps people land the job they desire, recently took to LinkedIn to share a unique resume template to help job aspirants.

He shared a creative version of a resume that has Google’s dark theme. He went on to ask his followers if the resume would attract the attention of recruiters. While seeking feedback, Sharma went on to say that those interested in the template could get access to it from him.

“Google is the dream company of many, but they are extremely selective. So, I have come up with a creative version of a Google dark theme resume,” wrote Sharma.

The resume resembles a search result page on Google. As creative as it can be, the search bar on the top has the query – “What does a good employee look like?” On the top section of the page, it reads ‘Did you mean: Aditya Sharma’.

The resume has a name, address, skills, academic projects, and achievements listed on the right side where Google usually shows the Knowledge Panel for related search queries.

The post has garnered more than 10,000 reactions and tons of comments.

“This is super impressive. However, I would say that a layout like this might confuse people because I was confused the first time I saw it. Also, maybe try a light theme,” a person said.

“I think this is fun and as long as the resume is a readable PDF, I’d smile if I saw this. Funny thing is, I have Low Vision and use universal high contrast on my computers and NOT dark mode (so that everything is consistently dark) so this resume shows up as white with black text to me ;). Such a fun idea!!” a second person said.
