OOEHS former students honour their beloved teacher

Dubai: Our Own English High School (OOEHS) former students honoured their beloved teacher Mrs. Asha Thomas Fenn for 39 Years of Changing Lives recently at The Millennium Hotel, Al Barsha.

Mrs. Asha Thomas Fenn is a long-standing and beloved Academician well known among academic circles in the Middle East and India. On behalf of all her students, she was honoured by her first batch of OOEHS students (1983) for her work among students that forms an illustrious career of 39 years.

Fenn started her career fresh out of college at the age of 22 as a senior class teacher in OOEHS. “All that I am, I owe to the 13 years I spent at Our Own with my students and colleagues thanks to the faith that the Varkey family had in me. My gratitude towards them knows no bounds,” she said.

Fenn moved to India in 1996 and served as Academic Coordinator at the Kerala State Civil Service Academy in TVPM. In addition to being an Independent Academic Consultant and Student Mentor, Fenn also currently serves as Corporate Relations Director and Student Counsellor at DCSMAT, Wagamon. She has authored a book “As you Embark” that focuses on the importance and nuances of Corporate Etiquette and Finesse. student beloved teacher honour

Several ex-students representing graduating classes from the years 1983 to 1996 attended the function and presented speeches celebrating Fenn’s life and career.
