Meet Pauline “Granny” Kana, a 95-year-old who has been making people laugh online with her hilarious antics for years now.

It all started in 2013 while her grandson Ross Smith was still at the University of Dayton. Smith was just playing basketball with his grandmother having fun that he recorded and realized that it would be funny to share it online on the now-extinct video app Vine.

At this point, Granny had no clue what the internet was.

The granny-grandson duo had no clue that their short clip would go viral garnering hundreds of thousands of views. Once it took off, Smith decided to film granny being her funny self and sharing it all online.

Granny has done videos pretending to be a gangster Granny or just making fun of Smith.

When the now-extinct Vine shut down in 2017, Smith thought his content creator career was over. But, things changed when one of his clips went viral over Facebook, following the Vine shutdown that got him thinking that he might want to expand into other platforms rather than invest in one.

Smith’s content took off quite well and he has been profiting from it as well but his granny shares a different sentiment. Granny refuses to move from her house in Youngstown, Ohio, and she won’t partake in the profits that are generated from the viral videos they make.

Check out Granny & Smith’s content and share with us in the comments below what’s your favorite video.
