Most expensive falcon in the history of the ADIHEX was auctioned off for AED 1.1m

Abu Dhabi: On the sixth day of the 19th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition‘s falconry auction, the most expensive falcon in the exhibition’s history, a Pure Gyr American ultra-white, was auctioned (sold) for AED 1.1m. 

The competitive falconry auction, which was set up in a unique way this year, was one of the event’s most well-liked attractions by the general public. This unique auction brings in falcon owners, falcon farms, falconers from the UAE and all over the world, as well as VIPs and businesspeople interested in the falconry sector. 

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition and its auctions, a milestone in the world of falconry, have attracted the largest and most important falconry farms in the world, which breed the rarest and most exquisite types of falcons. The exhibition’s Supreme Organizing Committee has initiated preparations for forthcoming surprises and new additions to the realm of falconry auctions. 

The Falcon Auction at ADIHEX 2022 saw the participation of dozens of local and international companies specialising in breeding the best falcons in the world, as well as providing Emirati falconers, the GCC, and people from all over the world with the opportunity to acquire the elite falcons that have captivated the world. 


Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. The 19th edition of Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is held from 26th September to  2nd October 2022 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) under the theme “Sustainability and Heritage…A Reborn Aspiration”

Organized by the Emirates Falconers’ Club, this highly celebrated event attracts local and global attendees and has continued to develop its plans and projects to be in line with its leading environmental and heritage goals in promoting sustainable hunting. At the same time, ADIHEX offers a unique opportunity for regional and international companies to participate and visit the exhibition with the aim of building a strong bilateral business relationship.

ADIHEX 2022 will bring together over 105,000 visitors to explore the 11 sectors across the 50,0000 sqm of exhibition space offering more than 680 exhibitors & brands showcasing the very latest technologies, innovations and trends in equestrian, hunting & camping gears and accessories, traditional & modern way of hunting.
