Notorious for reasons unlike the late RBG, Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed as the new Supreme Court Justice late Monday by a deeply divided Senate to secure a likely conservative court majority for years to come.
The democratic wing shunned the ‘illegal’ vote, and Barrett accrued a landslide GOP victory, in the first such take-to-office this close to Election Day, with just over a week left to Nov 3.
