UAE’s first homemade film to release on National Day weekend

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates has long been a melting pot for many different nationalities and cultures. As part of elevating the country to global standards, the government has recently introduced many key changes to promote economic growth and art in the country. This has motivated Beeline Productions, a Dubai-based company, to produce an international movie  “Yaara Vey”. The movie does not only boast of picturesque locations in the UAE, Georgia and Thailand but also of a cast and crew of locally based talent along with renowned international actors. And to symbolize the importance UAE has to the movie, it will release on the National Day of the UAE!!

Starring renowned Bollywood and Pakistani actors such as Sami Khan, Faizan Khwaja and Aleeze  Nasser, the romantic drama is based on a woman’s journey to self-discovery and finding love. Veteran  Pakistani actors such as Marina Khan and Jawed Sheikh can also be seen in this movie which will be released across UAE, Pakistan, the UK, USA among other countries worldwide. 

The cast and crew also comprise of local Dubai-based celebrities including the internationally renowned Aleeze herself, local actor Asad Raza Khan, radio personality Tarana Raja and online sensation Sarah Shareef. Additionally, the director Manish Pawar, writers Althea Kaushal and  Mahwish Ajaz, and musical maestro Atif Ali are all based in Dubai as well, making the venture a truly locally driven production. 

“As a multicultural hub with substantial talent, the UAE is a prime location for such a production and we feel fortunate to be able to bring together the best of the lot. Being based in UAE over the last many years and being my first feature film, I and the entire team were absolutely passionate to execute this project,” movie director Manish Pawar explained when asked about the challenges behind the movie. The songs are already receiving a lot of love and the trailer has been appreciated by audiences everywhere. 

Alezee Nasser, the lead, loved her journey. “Passion sees no hurdles and boundaries, it’s like having blinders on and going for that one thing that just feels right from deep inside. Yaara ve happened like a blessing and has been living within me from day one. It’s got amazing music, cast and the fact that it is a Dubai product makes it so very special. It’s been an experience to cherish for a long time.” 

Local Actor Asad Raza Khan is happy that UAE has attracted global projects after the recent encouraging support offered by the government. “UAE has had a growing arts scene for the last 10  years I have lived here. It went from a growing theatre and music scene to a vibrant location-based shooting destination for international productions. However now it is attracting full tv-shows, web 

series, and movies to be shot and produced completely in the country. Yaara Vey showcases the same with being an international-level cinematic masterpiece being totally produced in UAE with most of the cast being based here and getting to share the screen with International Icons. This is the first step for many productions to be centrally located here growing the industry fittingly releasing on National Day of the UAE i.e. December 2, 2022!”.

Yaara Vey is a movie that can be watched with the family, and it aims to draw the true essence of a  multi-cultured and multi-talented UAE artistic community showcasing that the future is bright for arts and entertainment in the region.
