A video has been recently shared online where a monkey is seen trying to wear a face mask that has caused quite a spectrum of reactions among netizens.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause havoc and as we’ve all learned to wear masks to protect ourselves, the animals seem to have followed suit like this monkey.
The monkey puts it on and tries to walk, but after a short few steps the mask falls off.

Although the video’s origin has not yet been confirmed, it gained popularity when it got shared by former American basketball player Rex Chapman via his Twitter account.
“If you’ve already seen a monkey find a mask and promptly put it on its face today then just keep on scrolling,” tweeted Chapman while sharing the video.
