The most extensive nature & wildlife festival in Asia has just announced its winners. Nature inFocus, an exclusive platform for photographers to create online portfolios of their nature and wildlife photographs, organises an annual photography competition for a global audience.

Participants of the event continue to push the envelope by submitting their images of the wild every year. This year, the photos were absolutely spellbinding and focused on raising awareness of plastic waste and deforestation. The photos also touched on the lighter subjects and animal behaviour.

Due to covid, Nature inFocus had opted for a live virtual event on the November 22, where the Nature inFocus Photography Contest 2021 winners were revealed.

Winners of the contest

Famous multi-award winning photographer Lakshitha Karunarathna from Sri Lanka clinched first place in the Wildscape & Animals in Habitat category.
